Behind the Black

Made for the Pleasure-not-Business Card RPG Jam.

Traditionally, when players seek to engage in carnal acts during an RPG session the story “fades to black” and play picks up sometime later. For many tables this is more than acceptable. For some however, especially in duet games between couples, there is an opportunity to explore the intimate moments in more detail.

Numbers and dice might not be how you want to experience these moments with your characters, and if that’s the case for you feel free to wing it! But sometimes having a bit of structure and pacing, along with adding a bit of chance to the encounter, can help with relaxing and letting go in the context of the game.

These rules are MOSAIC Strict compatible, but at the core this project serves as simply an encouragement to give the intimate side of humanity the same time and space that we spend on the violent.
